Sasha
Gnus
was
born March 28, 1969 in Belgrade,
Yugoslavia. He studied piano and flute at the "Kosta
Manojlovic" Music School in Zemun,
and the "Stankovic" Music
Gymnasium College, Belgrade, with Professor Karlo
Kneipp.
He received
many notable first prizes in national
competitions, making his international
debut at the "Maria Canals" International
Concourse in Barcelona, 1988.
Sasha
has composed pop songs, symfo-rock and music for
film and theater. Recorded for Radio and
TV.
Later,
his interests led him into popular
music, playing in different bands. The
group, "Alisa," was very
successful and made the top 10 of Yu-Hitlist in
the 1980's with their hit "Sanja".
In the
1990's, Sasha joined the group
"Atlantic," playing in a
club at the American Embassy in Bonn. He later
played in Majorca for two years and toured
the Netherlands and Germany.
As
a protegé of his Management "Gunther"
in Germany, he developed his repertoire as
a solo artist entertaining audiences in a
cabaret-style, telling jokes, accompanying
himself on the piano, singing, playing the flute
and saxophone.
Sasha Gnus
is available for performing in clubs,
hotels, coctail piano bar, parties, dances and other special
occasions as birthdays, anniveraries,
bankettes.
